[The Public=Reporter Lee Yujeong] Ice cream brand Benson announced on April 29 that it will launch four new summer items available from April 29 through August 31.

The limited-time lineup includes: ▲Acai Cassis Sorbet (5,300 KRW (approximately $3.98)), ▲Acai Berry Sundae (6,300 KRW (approximately $4.73)), ▲Acai Berry & Mango Smoothie (7,000 KRW (approximately $5.25)), and ▲Acai Berry Parfait (14,000 KRW (approximately $10.50)). The parfait is exclusive to the Apgujeong tasting lounge; the other three items will be sold at all stores. Note that Galleria’s luxury hall and the Mapo branch do not serve beverages, so the smoothie won’t be available there.

The signature Acai Cassis Sorbet blends acai berry with cassis and blackberry to create a bold, fruity base.

To celebrate the launch, Benson will upgrade single-cup purchases to double cups for free at all locations from April 29 through May 21.

They’re also rolling out a wellness-themed experiential program. On May 9 and May 30, Benson Creamery Seoul in Apgujeong will host meditation stretching and singing-bowl therapy sessions.

After each class, participants will be treated to an acai berry dessert designed to be light and refreshing—perfect for recharging without feeling weighed down.

Starting in May, every other Saturday Benson will give an acai berry dessert to customers who finish a Han River run led by Lululemon ambassadors.

A Benson Creamery spokesperson said, “We use carefully selected premium ingredients to cut back on artificial sweetness and let the fruit’s natural flavor shine. Our acai berry ice cream is a delicious way to stay cool this summer.”
