[Sports Seoul | Reporter Wi Sujeong] Seoul Dragon City is kicking off the summer season with two elevated bingsu creations made from premium ingredients, aiming to capture the summer dining crowd.

The hotel introduced the Jeju Apple Mango Bingsu and the Honey Bingsu at MEGA BITES, the lobby lounge & bar on the first floor of Novotel Ambassador Seoul Yongsan. Designed around the concept “Summer Rest in the City,” the new offerings are meant to give dessert lovers a refined, memorable treat.

The Jeju Apple Mango Bingsu stars carefully selected, high-quality Jeju apple mangoes—generously piled over fluffy milk shaved ice for an instantly Instagrammable look. It’s served with house-made red bean, Jeju apple mango purée, ice cream, and other condiments so guests can mix and match flavors to suit their taste.

The Honey Bingsu targets those who prefer a more natural, wholesome sweetness. It blends Jirisan seokcheong and New Zealand manuka honey to showcase the deep, subtle character of natural honey. The clean creaminess of milk shaved ice plays off the honey’s rich sweetness for a distinct flavor combination.

Prices are Jeju Apple Mango Bingsu 80,000 KRW (approximately $60) and Honey Bingsu 75,000 KRW (approximately $56.25). MEGA BITES is open Sunday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and extends hours on Saturday until 11:30 p.m., so guests can linger late into the night.

MEGA BITES also offers the Mega Platter, a shareable three-tier tray of seafood, meats, and salads—perfect for pairing with bingsu for a fuller summer dining experience.

A Seoul Dragon City spokesperson said, “We’ve expanded our premium bingsu lineup so guests worn out by the early heat can enjoy a relaxing summer respite in the city. We hope these two bingsu—made with fresh Jeju apple mango and prized honey—bring cool, special delights to our guests this summer.” wsj0114@sportsseoul.com
