CJ CheilJedang announced on May 26 that it showcased its Bibigo brand at the PGA Tour event The CJ Cup Byron Nelson, using the platform to introduce Korean cuisine and food culture to an international audience.

At TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas, the company ran a Bibigo zone inside the CJ Group’s experiential pavilion, House of CJ, and operated Bibigo concessions around the course. Both activations drew strong local interest throughout the tournament. CJ CheilJedang presented a range of Korean dishes to help visitors get a friendly, approachable taste of Korean food culture.

Styled as casual dining, the Bibigo concession at the 7th hole became the tournament’s culinary centerpiece. Renowned chefs from Korea and abroad prepared Bibigo-based dishes on site, delivering a signature dining experience unique to The CJ Cup.

Isabel Benait, a spectator returning for a second year, said, “The food was even better and there was more to do than last year. I love tacos, and the kimchi pork belly taco paired with a cocktail made from Korean distilled spirits really stood out — it made me more curious about Korean food.”

The grab-and-go setup at the 17th hole was another crowd favorite. Visitors grabbed dumplings from Chef Bo McMillan and gochujang tacos from Chef Yoo Yong-wook, each offered in original and spicy versions, giving attendees a tasty introduction to the spicy side of Korean cuisine.

A CJ CheilJedang representative said, “The CJ Cup has grown into a global festival that blends sports, gastronomy and culture. We will continue to offer distinctive culinary experiences through Bibigo and keep spreading the appeal and value of Korean food culture.”
