[Sports Seoul | Reporter Wi Su-jeong] Able Hyundai Hotel & Resort’s Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul (hereafter Banyan Tree Seoul) is rolling out a summer barbecue program that brings chic outdoor dining to the heart of the city. The promotion features two distinct concepts in the hotel’s signature outdoor spaces: the Oasis and Moon Bar.

First up, the outdoor kitchen by the Oasis pool presents the \”Oasis Poolside BBQ Buffet.\” 반얀트리
The poolside setting is designed to feel like an exotic resort—perfect for lingering over a long, relaxed dinner—and it’s so popular reservations book up fast every year.

On the menu, hotel chefs grill to order over charcoal, serving a variety of barbecue favorites: flat-iron steak, lamb, LA galbi and pork belly. The buffet is rounded out with seasonal salads, hot dishes, pizza and desserts. Unlimited canned beer adds to the laid-back, romantic vibe of warm summer nights. The Oasis Poolside BBQ Buffet runs weekends (Sat–Sun) from 6 PM to 9 PM, May 23 through Oct. 4. Please note it will not operate during the hottest stretch, July 1–Aug 30.

On the hotel’s top floor, Moon Bar offers a Private BBQ Dinner where you can enjoy intimate gatherings against the backdrop of Namsan and the city skyline. 반얀트리
The meal begins with three appetizers and moves on to a generous BBQ Platter featuring Elbon steak, pork belly, Iberico pork neck, lamb shoulder rack, fresh chorizo, eel and shrimp, followed by a dessert selection. Draft Ebisu beer is included.

The Private BBQ Dinner invites guests to grill premium cuts themselves, creating a stylish glamping-like experience—ideal for family get-togethers, office dinners or friendly celebrations. For a unique twist, you can reserve a jacuzzi seat (for an additional fee) to enjoy a cool dip while you barbecue. The experience accommodates groups of 4–8 and runs from May 12 through Oct. 24, 6 PM–10 PM.

“Summer is when demand for outdoor dining peaks, and we’re seeing more guests come specifically for the dining experience rather than just to stay,” a Banyan Tree Seoul spokesperson said. “We’ll leverage each restaurant’s distinctive space to offer summer dining experiences you can only have at Banyan Tree Seoul, while continuing to strengthen our food & beverage offerings.” wsj0114@sportsseoul.com
