but doesn’t break new ground. It’s a fictional tale that follows a well-worn path, reminiscent of Brad Pitt’s “F1: The Movie.” Like many racing dramas centered on middle-aged protagonists, it adheres to a predictable formula.

It’s a shame that a racing drama skimps on its most crucial element – the races themselves.
