February 10, 2023 marks the 19th anniversary of actress Jung Da-bin’s untimely passing. The young starlet was found dead at the age of 27 in a villa in Seoul’s upscale Gangnam district back in 2007.
At the family’s request, authorities conducted an autopsy, but investigators found no evidence of drug use or foul play.
Reports suggest that Jung had been going through a difficult period, including conflicts with her agency, in the time leading up to her death.
In a touching tribute, Jung’s mother reportedly held a spiritual wedding ceremony for her daughter in May 2011 at Yongcheon Temple in Gyeonggi Province, honoring what she believed were her daughter’s wishes.
Jung Da-bin had endeared herself to audiences with her vibrant and lovable persona, particularly through her roles in the hit sitcom series “Nonstop” and the popular drama “Rooftop Cat.” Her talent also shone in films like “The Cat” and “He Was Cool,” as well as in dramas such as “The Sun Shines” and “Typhoon of That Summer.”
