In the latest episode, Yoo-gyeom honors Nana’s request by keeping her possible dementia a secret from Hadam while taking practical steps to help. He becomes Nana’s discreet guardian, even giving her an accessory with his contact information after she occasionally gets lost and exhibits memory-related symptoms. Those gestures provide a reassuring safety net and a source of comfort for Nana. Because he’s engaged to Hadam, Yoo-gyeom’s relationship with Nana takes on a family-like depth that underscores his good character and touched viewers.
Kim grounds Cha Yoo-gyeom in realism. With an unblemished, fresh-faced look, he makes an immediate impression. He’s charmingly affectionate with Hadam and, with Nana, displays the warm, respectful demeanor of a devoted grandson. Kim moves naturally between the boyish innocence and the quiet inner resolve of someone determined to protect his loved ones. His solid fundamentals and unforced sincerity have carried the character’s arc confidently from his debut, marking him as a rising talent to watch.
Meanwhile, Kim Tae-young — who is also a member of the actor group NewName — continues to draw attention in MBC’s ‘In Your Brilliant Season.’ Episode 6 airs Friday the 13th at 9:50 p.m., and Episode 7 will be broadcast on Saturday the 14th at 9:40 p.m., moved up 10 minutes for special scheduling.
