[Sports Today reporter Song O-jeong] Netflix has officially greenlit a sequel to the global hit film ‘K-pop Demon Hunters’.
On the 12th (U.S. local time), Reuters reported that Netflix confirmed it will produce a follow-up to K-pop Demon Hunters (hereafter KDH), the streaming service’s most-watched film.
Netflix has signed exclusive deals with KDH co-directors Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans and has begun work on the sequel.
Maggie Kang said, \”I’m proud that audiences want more from this Korean story and our Korean characters. There’s still a lot in the world we created that we haven’t shown yet.\”
Netflix did not disclose a release window; the project is currently in early production.
