The agreement aims to bolster collaboration in academic and policy research within the realms of space security and defense aerospace. Key focus areas include joint project planning for defense aerospace policies, strategies, and technologies, as well as conducting academic and technical research in defense security, encompassing national security, defense policy, and military strategy.

We’re confident that concrete cooperation, such as joint research and academic exchanges, will enable us to effectively tackle evolving space security challenges.” |
Dr. Chun Sang-pil, Deputy Director of the Future Complex Security Research Institute, remarked, “Our alliance with the Air Force’s research arm provides a solid foundation to connect our research capabilities with real-world applications. We’re committed to fostering exemplary cooperation among academia, research institutions, and the military to bolster South Korea’s space security capabilities.”
