On March 13 (local time), Trump wrote on his Truth Social account that “we are completely destroying the terrorist regime of Iran militarily, economically, and in every other way.”
He said the failing New York Times might give the false impression that “we’re not winning,” but he claimed Iran’s navy has been wiped out, its air force no longer exists, and its missiles, drones and other capabilities have been obliterated.
He added that the United States has “unmatched firepower, unlimited ammunition and ample time,” and again warned, “Watch what happens to these deranged scumbags today.”
Trump also asserted, “They have killed innocent people around the world for 47 years, and now I, as the 47th President of the United States, am taking them out. It is a great honor to do so.”
