The Boyz’s Hyunjae Tops Poll for Favorite Male Singer to Hit the Ski Slopes Before Snow Melts

The Boyz’s Hyunjae has topped the list of male singers fans want to hit the slopes with before the snow melts.
TenAsia conducted a poll from February 2-8 asking, “Which male singer would you like to go skiing with before the snow melts?”
Hyunjae clinched the top spot. He recently teamed up with fellow members Sunwoo and Juyeon for a special unit project last November. The trio dropped the digital single “Tiger” and showcased their performances on major music shows, including KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank,” MBC’s “Show! Music Core,” and SBS’s “Inkigayo.” Their track “Tiger” blends the members’ distinctive vocals with a drum and bass beat, creating an addictive sound. The sharp vocal lines and seamless rap flow heightened the song’s impact.
The Boyz’s Juyeon secured second place. The group rang in the new year with a live performance at the “2025 MBC Music Festival” on December 31, delivering a stage that perfectly captured the festive spirit. They performed “You and I” from their mini-album “a;effect,” impressing viewers with their stylish choreography. The performance earned praise for its blend of traditional-inspired costumes and arrangements incorporating Korean classical music.
Park Jihoon landed in third place. His historical drama “The King and the Man,” where he portrays King Danjong, has been dominating the box office. The film held the top spot for five consecutive days and clinched the number one position on its opening weekend. It also surpassed the million-viewer mark within just five days of its release. According to the Korean Film Council, “The King and the Man” drew 761,831 viewers from February 6-8, securing the top spot for its debut weekend as of 7 AM on February 9. Critics have particularly praised Park’s compelling “eye acting,” which has become his signature strength.
