Following a rigorous competition that began with 88 contestants, the final trot battle showcased the remaining Top 5: Heo Chan-mi, Lee So-na, Hong Seong-yun, Yoon Tae-hwa, and Gil Ryeo-won. In a surprising revelation, it was disclosed that Gil had previously been part of the audience as a national representative during “Mr. Trot 3.” Reflecting on her journey, Gil shared, “I’m so passionate about trot. Just last season, I was sitting right here in the audience. Being on this stage now feels surreal – it’s like a dream come true. I’m incredibly grateful.” During the preliminary rounds, Gil had confessed to being a fan of Park Ji-hyun. She fondly recalled, “When I attended as an audience member, I even got Park Ji-hyun’s autograph. I’m so thankful to her for inspiring my dream.” Her heartfelt words added a touching moment to the show. “Miss Trot 4” is TV Chosun’s popular trot audition program, following in the footsteps of previous winners Song Ga-in, Yang Ji-eun, and Jung Seo-ju, as it seeks to crown its fourth trot queen.
