[Sports Today reporter Kim Tae-hyung] Virtual girl group OWIS is rolling out into the K-pop scene with a debut mini‑album that highlights five distinct vocal colors.
OWIS (Serin, Haru, Summer, Soi and Yuni) released a highlight medley from their mini album MUSEUM on the 11th via their official social media channels.

The video features snippets of all eight tracks, including the title track “MUSEUM.” Each excerpt is paired with stylized visual art that matches the mood of the songs and reinforces OWIS’s mysterious worldbuilding. Viewers were particularly struck by the vintage visual approach — shifting between black-and-white and color, miniature music boxes and layered motion graphics.
The title track “MUSEUM” is a midtempo number built around a gentle guitar riff. The song frames a “vault where forgotten shards of innocence and passion begin to breathe again,” and member Summer co-wrote the lyrics, adding a personal touch.
The remaining tracks span a wide range of styles. There’s the synth-forward, rhythm-driven pop cut airplane:143; the easy-listening “juicy,” which leans on smooth guitar loops and a minimalist beat; and the restrained, beat-forward “missing piece.”
The collection also includes “lonely lullaby,” which moves between classical jazz elegance and modern rhythms; the Afrobeat-tinged pop of “ONLY WHEN I SLEEP”; the hip-hop/R&B hybrid “forNEVER”; and an English version of the title track — eight tracks in total that showcase OWIS’s sonic range.
Prior to the medley release, OWIS drew attention with a steady rollout of stylish content — trailers, a webtoon, ticket-shaped posters and a booklet containing the tracklist. With a debut that boasts a track count comparable to a full-length album, fans are eager to hear the group’s full musical scope and to see the accompanying music videos.
OWIS’s mini album MUSEUM will be released on online music platforms on the 23rd at 6 p.m.
