[Sports Today reporter Im Si-ryeong] MONSTA X has raised anticipation for their forthcoming U.S. album after unveiling a new set of concept photos.
Starship Entertainment recently shared the \”THIRST\” concept photos for MONSTA X’s U.S. album Unfold, due April 3, across the group’s official social channels.
Shot in an office setting, the images show the members obsessively writing and reworking pages, conveying a sense of intense introspection. They flip through file folders, perch on stacks of paper and, in one scene, sweat visibly—visual metaphors for a thirst for answers.
In the group shots, the members’ brooding presence and sharp visuals command attention. The disordered room and scattered sheets serve as symbolic cues of a relentless search and longing, heightening curiosity about the new record.

A spoiler video that surfaced alongside the photos includes a brief instrumental snippet believed to be from the album, further stoking fan excitement. Its dreamy yet rhythmic texture hints at MONSTA X’s varied sonic palette and raises expectations for the full track.
Unfold is the group’s first official U.S. full-length in roughly four years, following December 2021’s The Dreaming. MONSTA X first broke into the Billboard 200 with their 2020 U.S. album All About Luv, which debuted at No. 5; The Dreaming also charted for two straight weeks, underscoring the group’s stateside impact. With Unfold, they look to reaffirm their global presence.
Having already broadened their range with pre-release tracks \”baby blue\” and \”growing pains,\” listeners are eager to see what new narrative MONSTA X will unfold.
On the 7th, MONSTA X opened the Asian leg of their global tour with 2026 MONSTA X WORLD TOUR [THE X : NEXUS] IN BANGKOK at the Thunder Dome. They continue their international run with a show in Malaysia on the 28th, and anticipation for Unfold is building among fans worldwide.
Unfold will be available on global music platforms at 12:00 a.m. local time on April 3 in each country.
