[Sports Today reporter Kim Tae-hyung] All-around artist WOODZ opened up about kicking off his world tour.
On the afternoon of the 15th, WOODZ held his solo concert, 2026 WOODZ WORLD TOUR ‘Archive. 1’ IN INCHEON, at Inspire Arena in Unseo-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon.
That night, he surprised fans—known as Mooz—by emerging from an unexpected spot. After performing \”Bloodline,\” \”Downtown\” and \”Dirt on My Leather,\” he said, \”Yesterday I entered from that side for the opening. Tonight, I wanted to try coming out by the console.\”
Welcoming the crowd on the second night, he added, \”Thank you for filling the venue like you did yesterday. Tonight I’m going to go all out like there’s no tomorrow. Did you recharge your stamina?\” and used the line to energize the audience.
WOODZ explained the show’s concept: \”The concert title is ‘Archive. 1.’ This year marks my 13th year since debut. Before, I was in a phase of preparing and establishing who I am as WOODZ. With ‘Archive. 1,’ I focused on showing more of myself. I’m starting this world tour from the Inspire show.\”
He also warned the audience about the show’s length: \”The performance runs about two hours, so it’s a bit long. If you’re in the standing section and feel tired, please let the safety staff or the person next to you know.\” He added, \”I served in a military band and know how tough it is to stand through events.\”
Raising expectations, WOODZ said, \”We prepared a fun show today, so be careful—you might become a fan. Personally, it’s been a while since I performed in a hall, so we rehearsed for nearly three hours. I think you’ll see an even better performance tonight.\”
The concert shares its name with WOODZ’s first full-length album, Archive. 1, released on the 4th. Ticket sales spiked servers when they opened, signaling fierce interest, and both the March 14 and 15 shows sold out, demonstrating his box-office pull.
This tour marks WOODZ’s return to the global stage roughly two years and two months after his 2023 world tour, 2023 WOODZ WORLD TOUR ‘OO-LI,’ and its encore, 2023 WOODZ WORLD TOUR ‘OO-LI and.’ It also carries special weight as his first concert following the release of his debut full-length album in his 13th year since debut.
Beginning with the Incheon performance, WOODZ will embark on the 2026 WOODZ WORLD TOUR ‘Archive. 1,’ covering 17 cities across Asia, Europe and Oceania. Promoters said additional cities and dates will be announced in stages.
