[Sports Today Reporter Jeong Ye-won] Netflix will become the stage where BTS writes a new chapter in their history.
Netflix will exclusively stream ‘BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG’ on the 21st and has released the event’s main poster.
The poster conveys BTS’s commanding presence and heightens anticipation for the group’s full-group comeback. The lighting, symbolic of their fifth studio album ‘ARIRANG,’ hints at the new tracks fans can expect to see performed on ‘BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG.’
Netflix’s exclusive live stream will allow fans around the world to experience the show’s energy in real time from Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul. The event also marks Netflix’s first live music event broadcast from Korea to a global audience. Known for delivering immersive films, series and variety content tailored to members worldwide, Netflix is poised to expand its entertainment offering with this live broadcast—giving fans everywhere the opportunity to share the same performance at the same moment.
Director Hamish Hamilton, the live-production maestro behind globally acclaimed stages including the Emmys, the Grammys, the Oscars, the Super Bowl halftime show, the 2012 London Olympics opening ceremony, and high-profile sets for Madonna, Beyoncé, and Rihanna, will oversee the production. The broadcast is expected to be more than a conventional concert stream; it aims to present a fresh, immersive live-viewing experience.
Netflix will exclusively stream ‘BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG’ worldwide at 8 p.m. on the 21st.
