[Sports Today Reporter Kim Tae-hyung] Versatile artist WOODZ tore through the stage with his hit “Drowning.”

On the afternoon of March 15, WOODZ performed his solo concert, 2026 WOODZ WORLD TOUR ‘Archive. 1’ IN INCHEON, at Inspire Arena in Unseo-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon.

He delivered a set that included “Mayfly,” “NA NA NA,” “Blue,” “Samo,” “GLASS” and “I’ll Never Love Again,” followed by performances of “Drowning” and “CINEMA.” His powerful voice filled the arena and resonated with the crowd.

During a mid-set chat, WOODZ asked, “We’ve been going nonstop—are you enjoying it? I’m having a great time, too.” He said he had played a number of songs during the Ireland stop and asked if anyone had attended the Index concert. He explained that the stage extension tonight was designed with that Index set in mind and that he wanted to get closer to the audience to sing up close.

He described the show’s narrative: “‘Samo’ felt connected to fire, so we used fire there, then cooled things down with ‘GLASS’ to leave ash. From ‘I’ll Never Love Again’ into ‘Drowning’ we brought in rain, and for ‘CINEMA’ we staged the feeling of raindrops falling on a roof.” From “‘I’ll Never Love Again'” onward, he said, the production followed a rain motif.

He added that he has one pre-performance check for “Drowning”: the crowd sing-along. “Has anyone ever gotten a perfect score on ‘Drowning’ at karaoke?” he teased, prompting the audience to join him in an a cappella rendition.

After listening to the crowd, he laughed and confessed, “It’s hard even for me to get a perfect 100 on ‘Drowning’ at karaoke.”

The concert takes its name from WOODZ’s first full-length album, Archive. 1, released on March 4. Ticket sales drew heavy traffic when they opened, and both the March 14 and 15 performances sold out, underscoring his box-office appeal.

The 2026 tour marks WOODZ’s return to the world stage roughly two years and two months after his 2023 world tour, 2023 WOODZ WORLD TOUR ‘OO-LI’, and its encore, 2023 WOODZ WORLD TOUR ‘OO-LI and’. It also carries special significance as his first concert run following the release of his first full-length album in his 13th year since debut.

Kicking off in Incheon, WOODZ will take the 2026 WOODZ WORLD TOUR ‘Archive. 1’ to 17 cities across Asia, Europe and Oceania, launching a full-scale global push. Additional cities and dates will be announced in the coming weeks.
