[Sports Today reporter Im Si-ryeong] Jinwook, who rose to prominence on TV’s Mr. Trot 2, is gearing up for a busy spring as he reconnects with fans through an expanded slate of live dates.
Since releasing his debut full-length album, Jinwook The New Beginning, last year, he has maintained a relentless pace—appearing on television and performing at festivals across the country.
Last year he toured from Goesan in North Chungcheong Province to Changwon in South Gyeongsang Province, and he carried that momentum into the new year with stops such as Hamyang, deepening his engagement with fans and proving himself a can’t-miss live performer.
At each show he has performed the album’s three lead singles—Are You Leaving?, If I Must Let You Go, and Era of Peace—alongside the album track Three-Round Match, drawing strong audience reactions and prompting frequent encore requests.
That upward trajectory looks set to continue this spring. Jinwook has received a steady stream of invitations from regional spring festivals, further cementing his position as a leading trot artist. His emotionally resonant sets, well suited to the season’s warmer vibe, and his interactive, audience-focused staging are expected to heighten the live experience.
Onstage, Jinwook consistently builds cross-generational rapport with sincere delivery and reliable live vocals, demonstrating strong competitive appeal on the festival circuit. He plans to extend his reach nationwide with performances throughout the spring.
Meanwhile, Jinwook will headline a solo concert titled 2026 Jinwook Concert: Dream (DREAM) at the Daegu EXCO Auditorium on April 4.
