[Sports Today Reporter Yoon Hye-young] Sori-kkun Lee Yoon-ah — who opened the year with the traditional luck-sending ritual Jeokmaji-ryeok, toured Indonesia, took part in the solemn Samiljeol (March 1st Independence Movement) national ceremony and performed at Jeju’s Eco Land — capped a busy spring schedule with a successful mini-concert.

Lee Yoon-ah staged a fan meeting and mini-concert on April 4 at the Daejeon Music Creation Center.

Roughly 100 fans filled the venue, sustaining loud cheers and applause throughout the night. Under the musical direction of Kang Hak-seon, guitarist Im Seon-ho, drummer Kim Jong-han and fusion gugak ensemble Raon joined Lee for a program that ran about two hours and delivered powerful, affecting moments.

The evening felt especially significant because fans helped shape parts of the program. Their onstage participation deepened the show’s intimacy and produced several genuinely moving highlights.

Lee’s wardrobe choices leaned into traditional silhouettes and textiles, amplifying the show’s visual identity and reinforcing the program’s cultural roots. Each number drew on Korea’s distinct aesthetic, eliciting strong responses from the audience.

The concert offered Lee an opportunity to connect closely with fans through candid interaction while showcasing adventurous, gugak-rooted musical explorations — moves that have raised anticipation for her next projects.

Pursuing a “gugak to the world” mission, Lee Yoon-ah continues to stay active and reportedly plans further thematic concerts in June and July, a prospect that has fans looking forward to what’s next.
