[Sports Today reporter Kim Tae-hyung] Rookie boy group NAZE turned heads after releasing 129 photos from their debut album, each one underscoring the group’s distinct identity.

NAZE (Kaisei, Yoon-gi, Ato, Turn, Yuya, Kim Geon, Dohyuk) uploaded versions two and three of the photo set for their self-titled debut mini-album on their official social media on April 8 and 9.

The first batch of images finds the group posed against a vivid pink backdrop, capturing the excitement of a fresh beginning. Each of the seven members offers a bright, playful charm that commands attention.

A subsequent set offers a backstage peek inside the waiting room. Dressed in vintage-inspired, coordinated looks, the members convey a relaxed, free-spirited vibe. Embracing a natural, authentic aesthetic, NAZE balances idol polish with artistic credibility, hinting at a distinctive team identity that builds anticipation.

By rolling out all 129 photos, NAZE has launched an unusually rich visual campaign and begun a distinctive mode of fan engagement. Earlier, they teased bold promotions by unveiling a shared, calendar-style scheduler linked from their official website, and they say they will continue using strategies designed to set them apart in the K-pop landscape.

NAZE marks C9 Entertainment’s first rookie boy band in five years and the agency’s first multinational boy group. The name NAZE refers to terrain where sea meets land, symbolizing the group’s journey to discover their true selves amid boundless possibilities.

Backing that momentum, all seven members starred in TBS’s prime-time drama Dream Stage and contributed to its OST. They also appeared on Japan’s flagship music program CDTV Live! Live!, toured drama showcase events in Tokyo, Osaka and Fukuoka, and took part in Tokyo Girls Collection (TGC) for three consecutive seasons—an unusually global trajectory for a pre-debut act.

With global fans already buzzing, curiosity is growing about the sound NAZE will bring to the K-pop scene.

Meanwhile, NAZE’s first mini-album, NAZE, will be released across online music platforms at 6:00 PM on May 4. Physical album pre-orders open at 3:00 PM on May 10 through online retailers.
