[Sports Today reporter Kim Tae-hyung] 500 wristbands used for attendee entry were stolen at a BTS concert, authorities said.
On the 11th, police said they received a report that around 3:20 p.m. a man ran off from the ticket booth at the auxiliary stadium of the Goyang Sports Complex in Ilsan-seo District, carrying roughly 500 wristbands.
Those wristbands are required for venue entry and must be verified along with tickets before attendees are admitted. Police are reviewing nearby CCTV footage and following leads based on a suspect description.
Meanwhile, BTS performed “BTS WORLD TOUR ARIRANG IN GOYANG” at the main stadium of the Goyang Sports Complex that day. The run included three shows — on the 9th, 11th and 12th — drawing roughly 132,000 fans over three days.
