[EPN Enpinow reporter Go Nari] The group Forestella will mark its eighth anniversary with a new full-length album.

Forestella — Bae Doo-hoon, Kang Hyung-ho, Jo Min-gyu and Go Woo-rim — will release their fourth studio album, “The Legacy,” on streaming platforms at 6 p.m. on the 23rd.

The record revisits the rewards of Forestella’s recent work while looking ahead. The group distilled years of experience and musical depth into 12 tracks, with member Kang Hyung-ho taking the lead on production. Holding fast to their original spirit, Forestella channels a more mature inner voice throughout the album.

The title track, “Armageddon,” highlights human values and our reasons for existing in an age captivated by artificial intelligence. Rather than dwelling on destruction, the song celebrates love, hope, solidarity and art, and it leans on a rock-band sound to transcend genre boundaries.

The 12-track set also features a range of distinctive pieces — “Still Here,” “Nella Notte,” “Etude,” “In Una Altra Vita,” “And Spring,” “Vase,” “Parla Piu Piano,” “Scarborough Fair,” “Now We Are Free,” “Snow Globe” and “The Show Must Go On” — offering the essence of crossover music.

Arriving five years after their last full-length release, the album will be available on streaming services at 6 p.m. on the 23rd, with physical editions issued simultaneously in multiple versions. A booklet-style package will include QR codes linking to each member’s track-commentary voice recordings, providing a novel listening experience.

Forestella will support the release with a slate of activities. The “The Legacy: Symphony” tour opens in Ilsan on the 25th and 26th, then moves to Seoul on May 9–10, Incheon on June 6–7 and Busan on July 4–5. From the 24th through May 3rd — excluding the 27th — Gallery Bit in Jongno-gu, Seoul, will host a themed exhibition titled “Fragments of Legacy” for nine days.

Forestella’s bassist Go Woo-rim married Kim Yuna in 2022.
