During these visits, the Gwangyang Free Economic Zone Authority intends to distribute essential items such as rice and daily necessities, tailored to each facility’s specific needs. They also plan to offer words of encouragement to both staff and residents.

Guchung-gon, Director of the Gwangyang Free Economic Zone Authority, expressed, “As we celebrate the Lunar New Year, we hope that our modest contributions will bring comfort and hope to those facing hardships in our community. We are committed to continuing various social outreach initiatives to support our local community in the future.”

Since its inception in 2004, the Gwangyang Free Economic Zone Authority has consistently upheld a tradition of community service. For over two decades, they have regularly visited welfare facilities and senior centers during major holidays, exemplifying their commitment to collaborative community engagement.
