Former municipal official Kim Seon-tae, widely known as “Chungju Man,” has launched a new YouTube channel, marking his return to the public eye.

On March 2nd, Kim unveiled a channel under his own name. The channel’s intriguing description, “I promote everything in the world,” has caught the attention of many.

While the channel currently lacks public content, it has already amassed approximately 4,000 subscribers within 24 hours of its launch, demonstrating Kim’s enduring popularity.

Kim Seon-tae rose to fame as “Chungju Man” during his tenure as a municipal officer in Chungju. His YouTube success, which garnered 970,000 subscribers, led to his promotion to level 6 in 2023, just seven years after his initial appointment.

However, Kim made headlines last month when he announced his resignation on February 13th. Despite rumors of workplace ostracism and internal conflicts, Kim maintained that his decision was driven by personal ambitions and a desire for new challenges.

Following his departure, speculation arose about potential involvement with the Blue House. Now, with the launch of his new YouTube channel, Kim has once again captured public interest, leaving many curious about his next moves in the digital landscape.
