Hyundai Motor Group said the video introducing the unmanned firefighting robot technology it developed with the National Fire Agency, “A Safer Way Home,” surpassed 30 million views on the 15th — just 12 days after its release.

The group posted the video to its YouTube channel on the 3rd. It highlights firefighters who risk their lives running into flames and shows unmanned firefighting robots deployed to high-risk scenes that are too dangerous for humans.

Hyundai said the video has received more than 45,000 likes and 841 comments.

Of the 30 million views, the English-language version accounts for more than half — 17.21 million views.

Views by country were led by South Korea (43%), followed by the United States (12%), Italy (5%), Spain (4.4%), France (4%), and the United Kingdom (2%).

Viewers expressed amazement at robotic technologies — including physical AI — being used safely to protect people and offered thanks to firefighters.

Comments included: “I hope this technology saves more firefighters’ lives. Thank you, Hyundai Motor Group,” “I’m truly grateful that Hyundai’s technology acts as a shield for firefighters. It’s moving to see innovation applied to save lives,” and “Robotics: a powerful shield protecting our heroes.”

A Hyundai Motor Group official said the company will continue its corporate social responsibility efforts to support the uniformed heroes who keep our communities safe.
