[By Lim Si-ryeong, Sports Today] YouTuber Jabsikgongryong announced his return.

On the 18th, he posted on his social media, \”I apologize for the inappropriate remarks and actions I made in the past,\” he said.

He said his derogatory language toward a specific region and his immature responses to viewers’ feedback were clearly wrong, and he apologized to anyone who felt uncomfortable. Reflecting on his words and actions, he said he has realized the need to think and speak more carefully.

He added that going forward he will avoid expressions that could cause discomfort or misunderstanding and will produce content with greater responsibility. He apologized again for his shortcomings and pledged to show a better version of himself.

After returning to social media, he recently restarted his YouTube channel. He said he had spent time quietly working and reevaluating his actions from a third-party perspective. Looking back, he said he shouldn’t have spoken as he did; he is not an expert on the subject, and it was not his place to make such judgments. He acknowledged his recklessness and repeatedly expressed regret for his behavior.

In June of last year, he sparked controversy by making derogatory remarks about a particular political party and region. He posted apologies twice afterward and donated 5 million KRW (approximately 3,750 USD) to the May 18 Memorial Foundation, but public opinion remains divided.
