According to fire authorities, at about 1:26 p.m. a blaze ignited in a warehouse near a deodeok farm in Hoengseong-eup, Hoengseong County. Fire crews extinguished the fire after roughly three hours. At about 2:55 p.m., a fire also erupted in a residential storage shed in Yongsan-ri, Imgye-myeon, Jeongseon County. Crews extinguished that fire within about 20 minutes. The blaze damaged an electrical distribution panel and destroyed some storage equipment. Police and fire officials are investigating the exact cause.
