Breaking the Glass Ceiling: Insights from the 2026 Women Leadership Program in Busan

Korea Southern Power hosted leadership training for mid-level female managers.
The company said on April 27 that it conducted the 2026 First-Half Women’s Leadership Training at the Wyndham Grand Hotel in Busan on April 23–24.
The program aimed to strengthen talent management grounded in gender equality and diversity. The curriculum covered next-generation leadership, strategies for overcoming the glass ceiling, and development of communication skills.
Participants shared the need for a more inclusive organizational culture and reviewed strategies to foster collaboration and professional growth within their organizations.
The program included a CEO lecture. President Kim Jun-dong emphasized fair personnel practices and respect for diversity, urging the expansion of opportunities and roles for women leaders.
Non-executive Director Park Young-mi then delivered a talk titled “Leadership That Combines Performance and Sustainability,” outlining the responsibilities and direction expected of mid-level managers.
Korea Southern Power said it will continue pursuing job-focused skills development and talent cultivation policies grounded in gender equality.
