A kitchen team member proudly described their creation: “We’ve made a hotteok chonkku with a Ferrero Rocher twist. We incorporated hazelnuts and a dash of cinnamon into the marshmallow, and even added some nutrient-rich pumpkin seeds.” Not to be outdone, a front-of-house staff member countered, “Our entry is a corn Dubai chewy cookie. Ferrero Rocher might be tasty, but it’s a bit commonplace, don’t you think?”
In a surprising turn of events, the front-of-house team clinched victory with a decisive 12-7 vote, sending shockwaves through the restaurant. Chef Son expressed his astonishment, quipping, “After tasting the front-of-house team’s cookie, I was certain the kitchen had it in the bag!”
This playful competition aligns with Son’s management style.
