[Songpa District = Sports Today reporter Kang Tae-gu] Representatives from all 10 professional baseball clubs unveiled their end-of-season pledges at Media Day.

The Korea Baseball Organization’s 10 clubs held the 2026 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League Media Day on the 26th at Lotte Hotel World in Seoul’s Songpa District.

Managers and 20 club representatives attended the season-opening media day.

Alongside the managers, the clubs were represented by LG Twins’ Park Hae-min and Lim Chan-kyu; Hanwha Eagles’ Chae Eun-seong and Moon Hyun-bin; SSG Landers’ Oh Tae-gon and Cho Byung-hyun; Samsung Lions’ Koo Ja-wook and Kang Min-ho; NC Dinos’ Park Min-woo and Kim Joo-won; KT Wiz’s Jang Sung-woo and Ahn Hyun-min; Lotte Giants’ Jeon Jun-woo and Jeon Min-jae; KIA Tigers’ Na Sung-bum and Yang Hyeon-jong; Doosan Bears’ Yang Eui-ji and Kwak Bin; and Kiwoom Heroes’ Lim Ji-yeol and Ha Young-min.

Players announced the promises they plan to keep with fans once the 2026 season concludes.

Kiwoom’s Lim Ji-yeol and Ha Young-min said they run a charity café after the season and many fans who can’t make it are disappointed, so they plan to expand the charity café to welcome more people.

Doosan’s Yang Eui-ji and Kwak Bin said they’ll rent a café and spend quality time with fans there.

KIA’s Na Sung-bum and Yang Hyeon-jong said a coffee brand operates inside their ballpark, and after the season players will bake bread and serve coffee to fans.

Lotte’s Jeon Jun-woo and Jeon Min-jae pledged that players will act as guides and lead fans on tours of Busan, finishing the day back at the ballpark with a barbecue party — a promise that drew cheers.

KT’s Jang Sung-woo and Ahn Hyun-min joked that when the season ends they’ll invite fans to the stadium for player-led workout sessions; if the team reaches the postseason, they’ll invite fans who work out to join them for weight training.

NC’s Park Min-woo and Kim Joo-won said they’ll book a restaurant after the season to spend quality time with fans, adding that a barbecue spot lets players sit close, chat with fans, and, of course, serve beef.

Samsung’s Koo Ja-wook and Kang Min-ho confidently declared that this is their year to win, promising to bring 1,000 fans to Everland to celebrate.

Hanwha’s Chae Eun-seong and Moon Hyun-bin explained they plan to repay fans with strong results and then produce YouTube content together with Eagles TV.

Finally, LG’s Park Hae-min and Lim Chan-kyu admitted they focused on winning and didn’t prepare a pledge if they fell short. They recalled last year’s victory celebrations — a barbecue and beer party — and vowed that if they win again, the club president will personally host fans with whiskey and other drinks at the final game at Jamsil Stadium.
