In the North Chungcheong gubernatorial preliminary, Yoon Gap-geun defeated Yoon Hee-geun. Yoon will face incumbent Gov. Kim Young-hwan in the final primary on the 25th–26th, and the party is expected to name its nominee on the 27th.
