[Sports Today reporter Lee Sang-pil] SEOUL — Korean and Japanese baseball legends will gather at Gocheok Sky Dome this December.

Rico Sports Agency announced on May 18 that the Korea-Japan Dream Players Game will be held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on December 5.

This will be the event’s third edition. The first two games were held in Japan; this year it returns to Korea.

Team Korea has been managed by Kim In-sik in past editions, and stars such as Lee Jong-beom, Oh Seung-hwan, Kim Tae-kyun, Jung Geun-woo, Lee Dae-ho and Yoon Suk-min have participated.

Team Japan, led by manager Tatsunori Hara, has featured legends including Masui Hirotoshi, Ogasawara Michihiro, Uehara Koji and Itoi Yoshio.

\”I’m very happy and honored to take part in the Korea-Japan Dream Players Game again,\” Oh Seung-hwan said. \”Last year’s strong interest and support from fans helped create special memories, and it was a meaningful time. Since this year’s event will be held in Korea, I’m looking forward to sharing memories with even more domestic fans.\”

Rico Sports Agency said it is honored to bring the Korea-Japan Dream Players Game—which was held successfully in Japan for two consecutive years—to Korean baseball fans this year. As this is the first Seoul edition, the agency said it will do everything possible to meet Korean fans’ expectations.
