Neymar, who plays for Santos, defied expectations by earning a spot on Brazil’s final 26-man roster for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America.
Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti unveiled the squad on the 19th (Korean time) at Museu do Amanhã in Rio de Janeiro. Among a galaxy of stars, Neymar drew the most attention — the crowd erupted when his name was announced.
The selection came as a surprise to many.
