T’way Air has made history as the first Korean low-cost carrier to open flight reservations for the Incheon-Jakarta route, the airline announced on the 10th.

Starting April 29, T’way Air will operate flights on this route five times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). The airline will use the A330-300 aircraft, which boasts a spacious 347-seat configuration, including 12 business class and 335 economy class seats.

Passengers can expect to depart from Incheon International Airport at 3:10 PM, touching down at Jakarta’s Soekarno-Hatta International Airport at 8:10 PM local time. For the return journey, flights will leave Jakarta at 9:50 PM and arrive at Incheon International Airport the following day at 7:05 AM. The total flight time is approximately 7 hours and 10 minutes.

As Indonesia’s capital, Jakarta is a bustling metropolis that serves as the country’s political, economic, and cultural epicenter. It’s not just a prime destination for business travelers, but also a gateway to Indonesia’s most sought-after tourist spots like Bali and Yogyakarta, making it a key Southeast Asian hub.

“By launching the Incheon-Jakarta route, we’re opening up easier access to major Southeast Asian cities,” a T’way Air spokesperson enthused. “We’re committed to prioritizing passenger safety while constantly working to enhance our customers’ travel experience.”

T’way Air is on a mission to become a global aviation player, continuously expanding its international route network. The airline now serves diverse regions including Southeast Asia, Northeast Asia, Japan, Central Asia, Europe, Oceania, and North America.

The airline is particularly focused on boosting its competitiveness by adding more medium and long-haul routes to its portfolio. Looking ahead, T’way Air plans to keep diversifying its strategic route network, giving travelers even more options for their next adventure.
