Explore Southeast Asia: Discover Boeun’s New Multicultural Village for Unique Stays

[iNews24 reporter So Jin-seop] A new Multicultural Village that brings Southeast Asian vibes to life has just opened in Boeun County, North Chungcheong Province.

According to Boeun County officials, the village officially opened its doors on the 3rd and started welcoming guests to its unique accommodations.

Built with an investment of 6.2 billion KRW (approximately 4.65 million USD), this eco-friendly retreat spans 9,500㎡ (about 102,256 sq ft) in the Donghak-ro area of Sokrisan-myeon. The village showcases architectural styles inspired by Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, and Cambodia, offering visitors a taste of Southeast Asia right in the heart of Korea.

The complex features eight lodging buildings housing 10 rooms in total, along with a management office and outdoor restrooms. Each room is designed to comfortably accommodate two to four guests.

Inside, visitors will find all the essentials for a cozy stay, including basic cookware and amenities. For those who love dining al fresco, there’s an outdoor barbecue area perfect for families and small groups to enjoy meals surrounded by nature.

This unique blend of natural beauty and cultural flair is expected to offer Sokrisan visitors a refreshing twist on the typical lodging experience.

Guests can check in between 3:00 PM and 10:00 PM, with check-out set for 11:00 AM the following day.
