Jeju Air said on March 16 that, ahead of the Michelin Guide Hong Kong & Macau 2026 release on March 19, it is recommending trips to Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan as evocative culinary destinations.
Hong Kong currently boasts seven three-star Michelin restaurants, cementing its reputation as one of Asia’s top dining cities. The city is home to a wide variety of restaurants—Chinese, French, Japanese and more. Many venues are run by Korean chefs, offering Korean visitors a familiar yet elevated dining experience.
Beyond the food scene, Hong Kong pairs dazzling city nightscapes with retro charm, and attractions like Disneyland add extra appeal. Jeju Air operates daily flights between Incheon and Hong Kong.
Starting March 29, Jeju Air will offer evening departures from Incheon, making an overnight foodie getaway possible for working travelers without taking vacation days. Passengers can also link this with the Macau route (seven times a week) for a multi-stop trip: Incheon–Hong Kong–Macau–Incheon.
Singapore’s hawker centers were the first in the world to earn Michelin recognition, underscoring the city’s vibrant street-food culture. The city also hosts three three-star Michelin restaurants. Jeju Air currently runs daily evening flights from Incheon and Busan to Singapore.
Taiwan is another top spot for food-focused travel, with three three-star restaurants that put modern spins on traditional dishes. The Taiwan Michelin Guide also highlights world-class cafés. As of March, Jeju Air operates four routes: Gimpo–Kaohsiung, Incheon–Taipei, and Busan–Taipei/Kaohsiung.
A Jeju Air spokesperson said, “Local eateries and Michelin restaurants are becoming major motivators for travel. As the global gourmet tourism market grows, we will offer reasonable fares and convenient schedules so customers can enjoy culinary experiences in Asia’s leading food cities.”
