South Korea’s Gokseong County is rolling out a hands-on, rose-filled experience at Seomjingang Train Village’s Rose Park.
The county will host a two-day rose candle-making workshop called “Capturing Rosy Hues” on the 28th and 29th. The sessions take place in the Garden of Roses inside the park.
Workshops start at 1:30 p.m., with 20 spots available each day (40 total). Participants will craft candles using dried rose blooms and can take their finished pieces home as keepsakes.
Sign-ups are open through a Naver Form until the 22nd. The fee is 15,000 KRW (about $11.25). Each session runs roughly 60–90 minutes.
The Garden of Roses is a newly created space designed for soaking up the scent and atmosphere of roses. Gokseong County says it will continue offering a variety of rose-focused, hands-on programs.
