South Chungcheong Province took part in the 2026 My Country Travel Expo at Seoul’s COEX Magok Center from the 19th to the 22nd.
Under the theme “Travel Beyond Everyday Life, Travel That Leaves a Mark on the Region,” the expo showcased about 300 booths run by about 200 organizations, from local governments to tourism businesses.
Chungnam teamed up with six cities and counties—Asan, Nonsan, Dangjin, Hongseong, Yesan and Taean—to run a joint promotional pavilion that highlighted the 2025–2026 Visit Chungnam Year and the 2026 Taean International Horticultural Therapy Expo.
The province also handed visitors a guidebook featuring 104 curated itineraries, organized by region and theme.
“This expo was a meaningful opportunity to showcase Chungnam’s tourism appeal,” a provincial official said. “Going forward, the province and its cities and counties will continue working together to actively promote our local tourism assets.”
