(The CEN News / Reporter Ahn Chaebin) Planning a Gapyeong getaway? Starting April 2, Gapyeong County is splitting its tourist loop bus into two separate routes to make getting around easier and to improve operating efficiency for the buses.

So far, one loop linked the main attractions and took about two hours to complete. The new plan shortens riding time and boosts efficiency by dividing service into two focused circuits. Route A will serve the Gapyeong–Seorak area, while Route B will cover Cheongpyeong–Sangmyeon.

Route A stops at top attractions like Gapyeong Terminal, the rail bikes, Gapyeong Station, Jaraseom, Nami Island, Petite France, Gapyeong Cruise, and Begonia Saejeongwon. Route B connects Petite France, Cheongpyeong Terminal, Cheongpyeong Station, the Gongyu Brewing Venture Center ‘Suljium,’ and The Garden of Morning Calm. Petite France is a transfer point between the two routes, and Suljium is newly added to Route B.

Each route takes about an hour to complete, with buses running every 60 to 90 minutes. The fare is set at KRW 8,000 (roughly $5).

A Gapyeong County official said the change should make it more convenient for visitors to explore and will improve the overall efficiency of bus operations.
