Gyeongbok University is hosting a hands-on sheep event built around the playful concept “The Whitest Sheep in the World.”
On April 17, the university announced the “Hayang Farm Sheep Experience,” scheduled for April 21 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at its Namyangju campus in Gyeonggi Province.
Visitors will have the chance to meet live sheep brought from Hayang Farm in an interactive program. Students and local residents are invited to stop by the campus to snap photos and join in the activities.
Organizers say the event is meant to give students a relaxing break while opening the campus to local residents as a shared cultural program. The university hopes to expand the campus beyond classrooms into an open platform where culture and hands-on experiences coexist, using events like this to strengthen ties with the surrounding community.
“We’ll keep creating hands-on programs that bring students and neighbors together,” a Gyeongbok University official said.
