Previews of Outdoor Gardens and Indoor Exhibits

2026 Goyang International Flower Expo

On April 23, the Goyang International Exhibition Foundation hosted a press day to announce the 2026 Goyang International Flower Expo, which will run at Ilsan Lake Park from April 24 through May 10.

The foundation walked media through the planning process — from theme selection to exhibition design and programming — and shared the curatorial vision behind this year’s show.

They also previewed the expo’s main exhibits and led on-site tours of the event’s key zones.

Tulip-lined

This year’s theme, “Flowers Color Time,” transforms a 250,000㎡ site (about 62 acres; roughly 2.69 million sq ft) into a vibrant floral playground filled with outdoor gardens, indoor exhibits, performances, events and a bustling flower market.

At the outdoor main plaza, Time Traveler’s Garden, a rotating spherical floral sculpture serves as the dramatic centerpiece (13 m tall, 26 m wide — about 43 ft high and 85 ft across).

Stroll the metasequoia-lined Bitdam Garden, find calm in the soothing Mind Temperature Garden, or recharge among trees in the lush Flower Therapy Garden — each space is designed to evoke a different experience of time and nature.

Inside the exhibition halls, visitors will encounter eye-catching specimens like giant roses and “ice” tulips, plus new flower varieties from Korea and around the world. Live performances are scheduled on the waterside stage, the busking stage and the Rose Stage.
