[Sports Seoul | Reporter Yoon Dong-eon] Singer Lee Sang-soon opened up about island life in Jeju, sharing the practical challenges that come with it.

On the 24th, a video titled ‘라고 할 때 갈걸..’ posted to the YouTube channel Stayfolio captured a candid conversation between Lee Sang-soon and broadcaster Kim Na-young about travel spots and choosing where to live.

That day, Kim Na-young gushed about her love for Jeju and admitted, “I once seriously thought about actually living there.” But she added a dose of reality: friends who’ve lived on the island warned her that getting around is inconvenient, which discouraged her.

Lee Sang-soon strongly agreed. “If your main work is on the mainland — especially in Seoul — it’s not easy,” he said. He explained that they initially tried to scale back their work to make island life work, but that strategy ended up leaving them more exhausted.

Still, he noted, “There are definitely inconveniences, but you gain just as many benefits,” pointing to the bittersweet appeal of living in Jeju. hellboy321@sportsseoul.com
