When riding meets gaming — a fresh take on the tour scene

BMW Motorrad has launched the Epic Riders Club, a mission-driven tour that pairs collectible cards with riding across Gangwon Province in South Korea. Registration opens at 2:00 p.m. on April 30. Riders visit the spots shown on the cards and complete missions there. You plan your own route, discover varied locations, and pick up rewards as you ride.

Card tiers and rewards unlocked by GPS check-ins

After you sign up, your riding kit arrives with 40 random cards, each showing a different checkpoint around Gangwon. Pick the destinations you want, ride there, and scan the on-site QR code to complete a GPS-based check-in. The card’s tier is revealed immediately — from UR down to C — and each level unlocks different rewards. Hit a special card and you’ll score an extra gift, adding to the thrill of collecting.

Prizes include café and convenience-store coupons, engine‑oil change vouchers, BMW lifestyle gear, Sena Bluetooth intercoms, and Insta360 cameras. Riders can trade cards with each other to complete their collections. At the end of the program, the top three riders who reach the highest level will receive special additional rewards.

Built around more than 220 Gangwon checkpoints — a long-term project

With over 220 verification checkpoints across Gangwon, riders can explore freely and at their own pace. You can visit several locations in a day to build a personalized route map and riding log. The program is open to BMW Motorrad motorcycle owners; applicants must verify their vehicle registration when they sign up.

The participation fee is 40,000 KRW (approximately $30 USD). Registrants receive a kit containing 40 cards, a binder, a wallet, a tour map, and decal stickers. You can purchase up to three additional card packs. The program runs from April 30 through February 28 of next year. For full details, visit the official website or contact the communication center.
