Held under the theme ‘Boseong Matcha! Capturing Youth, Embracing the World!’, the five-day festival runs through the 5th. It spotlights traditional tea culture and blends hands-on experiences, live performances, and interactive programs.

From the very first day, families and young adults filled the festival grounds, giving the event a vibrant, upbeat energy.

On site, activities like tea-leaf picking, traditional tea-ceremony sessions, and tea-making workshops attracted steady interest. Interactive stations serving matcha drinks and desserts were especially popular, with long lines forming at many booths.

In the afternoon, the Korea Tea Museum’s main stage hosted the ‘Boseong Tea-Concert.’ The opening-day ‘Matcha Grandma Healing Concert’ had the audience laughing and applauding, boosting the festival’s lively atmosphere.

Later, the ‘Afternoon Tea Fields (Grand Tea Party)’ offered a charming chance to sip tea and savor desserts amid rolling tea-field scenery. Organizers also provided interpretation services for foreign visitors, adding an international touch to the event.

Interactive programs popped up across the grounds. Events such as the ‘Green Tea Olympics (Tea-jical-100)’ and ‘Cops and Robbers’ accepted on-site registrations, and a kids’ zone strengthened the festival’s family-friendly appeal.

The ‘Boseong Matcha Brand Hall’ became a magnet for younger attendees—matcha lattes, desserts, and bakery treats were big hits. Matcha cocktails and traditional liquor tastings also offered fresh, crowd-pleasing experiences.

Boseong County ran a welcome center and provided umbrella and portable battery rentals for visitor convenience. A ‘Mission Tour’ encouraged guests to try key activities, helping them dive deeper into the festival experience.

The Boseong Dahyang Festival Organizing Committee said, \”Many tourists have come and are enjoying a variety of programs since opening day. We will work to operate a safe, well-organized festival so visitors can fully experience Boseong’s tea culture and the charm of spring.\”
