The Gyeonggi Province Agriculture and Fisheries Promotion Agency is accepting applications through June 10 for \”Rural Regeneration: Exploring Useful Return-to-Countryside Activities\” (Alseulguitam).
This practical program helps people planning to move to rural areas design meaningful roles and activities there — it’s about preparing for life and work, not just changing your address.
The curriculum frames rural communities as workplaces, homes, and places of rest, and emphasizes building strong ties with local residents.
About 30 urban residents planning to relocate will be selected; applicants must have completed at least 20 hours of related training.
The course runs for six weeks, June 16–July 28, totaling 24 hours, and participation is free.
Participants who attend at least 80% of the class hours will receive a certificate.
