On March 2 (local time), lifestyle-tech company CoverSummon teamed up with France’s Institut Français de la Mode (IFM) to unveil air-tech–driven pieces on the opening runway of Paris Fashion Week’s 26 Fall/Winter shows.

The collaboration took off after an R&D meeting at Première Vision in Paris last September. Using CoverSummon’s AirKit—an adaptable air-technology system that can be applied across a range of designs—the teams moved the project forward.
IFM is one of France’s premier fashion schools, closely partnered with luxury groups like LVMH and Kering, and known for producing top creative talent. Its Master of Arts program mixes experimental design with the humanities, technology, and sustainability—and each year it showcases students’ work during Paris Fashion Week.
The runway highlighted original collections from 23 students. They fused French haute couture craftsmanship with fresh approaches to shape and texture, showing creativity and modern sensibility through tailoring, draping, and embellishment.
Standout designer Alexis Lopez Angeles used CoverSummon’s air modules on military-inspired jackets and dresses to amplify volume. He even introduced a custom air-module teddy bear as a sculptural object, exaggerating silhouette and form for maximum drama.
