On May 9 (Korean time), Jimin and Suga posted photos on their social accounts showing the group at Arena México, Mexico’s flagship pro-wrestling venue. In the images, the members sit side by side in front of a photo wall wearing the wrestlers’ ornate masks. Jimin drew attention after taking a selfie while wearing the signature mask of popular Mexican wrestler Místico.
Another photo shows Místico from behind as he entered the ring wearing a white jacket emblazoned with the BTS logo and the group name “BTS.” Arena staff acknowledged the group’s visit, and Místico personally greeted the members. They watched the match from seats in the front row. Místico is a leading star of CMLL, Mexico’s largest pro-wrestling promotion. Known for flashy aerial maneuvers and distinctive masks, he is widely regarded as an icon of lucha libre. Arena México is locally celebrated as the sport’s most hallowed venue.
