Discover the Game-Changing AquaFresh25: How Hyosung TNC and Gritty are Redefining Underwear in 2025

[Point Economy] Hyosung TNC has teamed up with lifestyle-wear specialist Gritty to bring high-performance fabrics into everyday intimates.

On March 24, Hyosung TNC and Gritty said they signed a technical research agreement at Gritty’s headquarters to formalize a research partnership.

Hyosung TNC’s innovative material ‘AquaFresh25’ applied to Gamtan Bra

Under the agreement, Hyosung TNC’s high-performance fabrics will be rolled out across Gritty’s core brands. The two companies will collaborate on technical research, product development and launches, starting with the Gamtan Bra.

The partners co-developed a material called ‘AquaFresh25’ and applied it to Gritty’s seamless underwear line, the Gamtan Bra. As a result, the Gamtan Bra’s new ‘2025 Airsoft’ collection — offered in standard and large-cup options — debuted in February.

AquaFresh25 blends Hyosung TNC’s cooling nylon yarn CREORA® Aqua-X with the odor-control spandex CREORA® Fresh to create a high-performance fabric. It delivers strong cooling, exceptional stretch and durability, fast moisture wicking and quick drying, plus odor-control technology that chemically neutralizes smell-causing substances. The fabric also offers a soft, cool, slightly dewy hand-feel and a snug, supportive fit. Constructed with AquaFresh25 and an in-house soft mold, the Gamtan Bra 2025 Airsoft promises long-lasting comfort and a flattering silhouette.

Collaboration to expand across all Gritty brands

Kim Chi‑hyung, CEO of Hyosung TNC, said, “Working closely with Gritty since last year has led to this meaningful product-development milestone. We plan to deepen our collaboration on technical research, product development and launches going forward.”

The companies said they will expand the partnership beyond the Gamtan Bra to cover all of Gritty’s brands, including Wonderbra, Playtex, Just My Size, Benetton, Juicy Couture and Witte.
