Revolutionary Tennis Shoes: Nexen Tire’s ‘Le Court Advanced’ Combines EV Technology for Ultimate Performance

Nexen Tire (002350) announced on Feb. 27 that it has launched Le Court Advanced, a high-performance tennis shoe created in collaboration with global sports brand Le Coq Sportif. Stylish and performance-driven, the shoe blends athletic tech with court-ready design.
Nexen Tire adapted its electric vehicle tire technology for the shoe’s outsole to enhance grip and abrasion resistance. On the court, players need traction that holds up through quick cuts and constant friction — requirements that mirror those for EV tires, which are engineered to withstand heavy loads and high torque.
Working with its holding company Nexen Co., Nexen Tire combined multiple tire-grade raw materials to jointly develop a high-performance outsole compound tailored for tennis shoes. That rubber composite has been patented under Nexen Co.’s name. Le Coq Sportif led the outsole’s design and structural engineering.
Le Court Advanced is available at Le Coq Sportif stores nationwide and through the brand’s official online shop. To celebrate the release, Nexen Tire is hosting an Instagram giveaway where winners will receive a pair.
