SmartCara launched the SmartCara Stone S, a food-waste disposer made exclusively for Coupang.
Based on the original SmartCara Stone, the Stone S refines select design elements. It launched on Coupang with an introductory promotion of about 40% off, and SmartCara is also offering accessories like a dedicated drying drum and replacement filters.
For this Coupang-only model, SmartCara coated the drying drum with a new granite-based material and built it with a seven-layer structure. That improves durability under high heat and cuts down on the sticking and residue that often plague dry-grind disposers.
The unit reduces food-waste volume by up to 91.2% and can even grind chicken bones. Its folding-door design and slim 19-centimeter profile make installation less of a hassle.
A SmartCara spokesperson said the company plans to expand its reach across multiple distribution channels.
